Bonvalet was founded by Christopher Stammer, a 20-year veteran in foreign affairs consulting and long-time training contractor through the U.S. Department of State National Foreign Affairs Training Center (NFATC). He brings deep insight into global diplomacy, government operations, and strategic advisory work. Behind him is a growing global network of seasoned advisors, including retired diplomats, policy experts, technologists, and former government officials — each committed to delivering agile, AI-informed, and results-driven solutions to today’s most pressing global challenges.

Yes. We work with foreign governments, diplomatic missions, and their staff in a consulting, advisory, or training capacity. We do not lobby or represent foreign interests before U.S. agencies, ensuring full compliance with all legal and ethical requirements.

Immediately. We’re built for speed. For urgent strategic needs, we can often assemble an expert team or deliver initial guidance within 48 hours. For planned engagements, we work with you to define goals and deliverables on your timeline, and then develop a gameplan.

Bonvalet offers both. Through our advisory services, clients engage with a trusted network of seasoned experts for strategic guidance, scenario modeling, and confidential counsel. Through Bonvalet Academy, we deliver high-impact training — virtually and in person — on technology, management, cybersecurity, physical security, diplomacy, geopolitical strategy, and innovation in statecraft. Whether you’re navigating global complexity or building institutional capacity, Bonvalet equips you with the insight, tools, and expertise to lead with confidence.

Bonvalet is a privately held, mission-driven for-profit company. This allows us to move quickly, scale globally, and attract world-class talent from both government and industry — while staying focused on real-world results, not bureaucracy.

No. Bonvalet is strictly nonpartisan and independent. We do not advocate for any political party or ideology. Our mission is to provide unbiased, strategic insight and trusted counsel to clients across the public and private sectors. Everything we do is rooted in expertise, not politics. We serve the long-term interests of effective governance, diplomacy, and global cooperation.

Generally, no. Bonvalet evaluates each engagement individually, prioritizing alignment with democratic values, international law, and constructive diplomacy. While we welcome global collaboration, we do not work with regimes under U.S. sanctions or those whose actions fundamentally conflict with our ethical standards and mission. Our goal is to support partners committed to peace, stability, and mutual respect on the global stage. If two parties approached Bonvalet to help negotiate a peace settlement — and one party was not considered an ally — in the interest of peace and diplomacy, Bonvalet would more than likely accept the challenge.

In most cases, no. Bonvalet operates as a U.S.-based strategic advisory firm and complies fully with all applicable laws, including the Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA). As a strategic advisory firm, we do not lobby or represent foreign interests before U.S. agencies. We take this issue very seriously and carefully assess each engagement to ensure compliance with the FARA and will guide advisors accordingly.
